Get Ready for Baldwin Troutarama!

Since 1957, thousands of people have annually met in Baldwin every July to enjoy themselves at the Troutarama Festival. One of the highlights of the Troutarama Festival is the Grand Parade with a performance by the “world famous” Scottville Clown Band. The Troutarama is packed with even more fun including a free concert, craft exhibits & sales, sidewalk sales, food booths, midway by Schmidt Amusements, Youth Fishing Derby, and an entertainment tent with live musi

Here is the Typical Schedule of Events:

Wednesday-  Opening Day

  • Special Carnival Preview
  • All rides are $1 each 
  • 7pm – Music by Mustang Band, Wenger Pavilion

Thursday- Kids Day

  • 9am – Craft exhibits and sales, Wenger Pavilion
  • 9am – Sidewalk Sales
    11am – Food Booths open
  • Noon – Troutarama Youth Games & Contests, Hollister Park
  • Noon- Beer Tent opens
  • Noon – Arrive Alive Golf Cart Obstacle Course, Hollister Park
  • 1:30pm – Pleasant Plains Fire Department Penny Hunt, Baldwin Fire Department
  • 3pm – Midway opens
  • 3-5pm – Kid’s Kraft Korner, Lake Osceola State Bank
  • 4-7pm – Karaoke & Music by Torrey Warren, beer tent
  • 5:30pm – Little King & Queen Contest, Wenger Pavilion
  • 6:30pm – Horse Pull Contest, West Trailhead Park
  • 7pm – Kid’s & Pet Parade, Pleasant Plains Township Hall
  • 8pm – Scottville Clown Band Concert, beer tent
  • 10-11:30pm – Karaoke & music by Torrey Warren, beer tent

Friday

  • 8am-10am – Baldwin Rotary Youth Fishing Derby, Fish Hatchery
  • 9am – Craft exhibits & sales, Wenger Pavilion
  • 9am – Sidewalk Sales
  • 9am-12:15pm – Kids Tennis Clinic, Hollister Park
  • 11am – Food Booths open
  • Noon- Beer tent
  • Noon-4pm – Kid’s Kraft Korner, Lake-Osceola State Bank
  • Noon – Muscle & Sole Massage, Midway
  • 1pm – Midway opens
  • 4-9pm – Whispering Pines Petting Zoo, Midway
  • 4-7pm – Karaoke & Music by Torrey Warren, beer tent
  • 6-7:30pm – Idlewild Dance Troupe, Wenger Pavilion
  • 7:30-11:30pm – Music by Dewsouth, beer tent, $2 cover charge
  • 8-11:30pm – Korn Hole Bean Bag tournament, beer tent

Saturday

  • 7-9am – Troutarama 5k, St. Ann’s Senior Center
  • 8-10am – Youth Fishing Derby, awards at 10am, Fish Hatchery
  • 8:30am- *Men’s Slowpitch Tournament, Hollister Park
  • 9am – Craft exhibits & sales, Wenger Pavilion
  • 9am – Sidewalk Sales
  • 11am – Food booths open
  • Noon – Midway opens
  • Noon – Muscle & Sole Massage, Midway
  • Noon-4pm – Street Entertainment by Mat Emerick, Midway
  • Noon-9pm – Whispering Pines Petting Zoo, Midway
  • Noon-9pm – Pixie’s Ponies, Midway.
  • 1pm – Grand Parade, downtown
  • 2:30pm – Scottville Clown Band Concert, beer tent
  • 2:30pm – Fireman’s Water Battle, after parade, downtown
  • 4-7pm – Karaoke & Music by Torrey Warren, beer tent
  • 7pm – Music by Serita’s Black Rose, Wenger Pavilion
  • 7:30-11:30pm – Music by Dewsouth, beer tent, $2 cover charge
  • 8-11:30pm – Korn Hole Bean Bag Tournament, beer tent
  • 11:30pm – Troutarama Raffle, beer tent

*If the Men’s Slowpitch Tournament hasn’t concluded on Saturday, it will continue on Sunday, July 25th beginning at 8:30am at Hollister Park.
