This event for Jeep lovers and owners is scheduled for June in downtown Mears. It’s a gathering of all things Jeep right here in the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area! Join in the creative atmosphere of the Silver Lake Jeep Invasion to experience the Off Road Trails, Jeep Car Shows, National Vendor Show Events, Trail Rides, live music, raffles, Awards, and more.
Apple & BBQ Festival
The Silver Lake Sand Dunes Apple & BBQ Festival held in July includes Amateur & KCBS Professional Competition, Craft Show, Classic Auto & ORV Show, Kid’s Activities, Beer Tent, 5K Apple A Day Run/Walk, live entertainment, and food vendors.
Hippie Fest in Mears
Hippie Fest is a family-friendly art and music festival held in October featuring vibrant entertainment for all ages. Featuring one-of-a-kind artists and vendors, bohemian shopping, and family-friendly entertainment. Free admission for kids ages 10 and under.
In addition to live music held at Silver Lake establishments like Golden Sands Golf & Bucket Bar and Val-Du-Lakes, Silver Lake and the surrounding areas offer many opportunities to enjoy live music throughout the summer. There are also live music events held along the lakeshore in Ludington, Manistee, Hart, etc.
