Scottville 10 & 31 Celebration
West Michigan Ice Hockey Tournaments
West Shore Community Ice Arena in Scottville hosts several youth and adult hockey tournaments throughout the fall and winter. The Area 24 Special Olympics host their charity hockey game to benefit local area Special Olympic athletes.
Spring CommUnity Auction
The Annual Spring CommUnity Auction benefits the Ludington & Scottville Chamber of Commerce and the Mason County Central Educational Foundation. Typical auction items include trip packages, entertainment, sporting goods, home items, and more. Hundreds of goods and services are showcased.
This public and free event has been bringing businesses and community agencies together annually for nearly 30 years to provide a fun-filled day for children and families. Each year, about 60 groups from local businesses, community agencies, and clubs have booths providing hands-on activities, snacks like cotton candy and popcorn, giveaways, and information on resources for families.
Spartan River Run Kayak Race on Pere Marquette River
This race is held in conjunction with the Scottville 10 & 31 Celebration and includes three difference races to choose from. Two of the races are strictly kayak or canoe and the third is a triathlon which includes biking, running, and paddling. This event is sponsored by Paddle Sports Factory Outlet and Smith & Eddy Insurance.
