Irons Annual Flea Roast & Ox Market

June 27th-29th, 2025

The Flea Roast and Ox Market is filled with family entertainment for all. Occurring annually in June and hosted by the Irons Area Tourist Association at Skinner Park in Irons, the festival is the group’s main fundraiser.

The four-day festival features amusement rides, live music performances, tournaments, kids games and contests, flea burger food tent, ox market (raffle and souvenir booths), parade and fireworks. 

Things to Know...

  • Admission/Parking is free on Thursday & Sunday; $5/person, 12 and under free OR $15/carload on Friday & Saturday. Carnival wristbands are $30 each.
  • NO PETS – for your pets welfare, you will not be allowed to leave them in your vehicle.
  • No outside coolers/drinks or food allowed.
  • Hours: Thursday, June 27th from 4-10pm; Friday, June 28th from 1pm-12:30am; Saturday, June 29th from 11am-12:30am; and Sunday, June 30th from 12-4pm.

  • 4pm – Opening Ceremonies

  • 6pm – Live music in the Pavilion
  • 7pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 7:30pm – Kids Bike Raffle (Ages 10 and under) at the Raffle Booth
  • 8pm – Ox Market Closes
  • 9pm – IATA Food Booth, Souvenir Booth, Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Close
  • 10pm – Beer Tent & Skinner Park Close

Friday

  • 1:30pm – Ox Market, IATA Food Booth, Beer Tent, Souvenir Booth, Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Opens
  • 2pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher
  • 2pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 3:30pm – Live music in the Pavilion
  • 4pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher
  • 5:30-6:30pm – Police Department vs. Fire Department in the Dunk Tank
  • 6pm – Corn Hole Tournament South of Buck Pole, $20/team
  • 6pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher
  • 6:30pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 7pm – Rodeo by Flying Star (bring your own chair) at the Horse Corral
  • 7:30pm – Kids Bike Raffle (Ages 10 and under) at the Raffle Booth
  • 8pm – Live music featuring Whiskey Rebels in the Pavilion
  • 8pm – Ox Market Closes
  • 9pm – Souvenir Booth Closes

Saturday

  • 10am – Registration for Horseshoe Tournament at the Ticket Booth

  • 11am – Ox Market, IATA Food Booth, Beer Tent, Souvenir Booth, Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Opens
  • 11am – Horseshoe Tournament at N.W. Tall Pines, $20/team
  • 11am-8pm – Petting Zoo by Wild World Adventures 
  • 12pm – Free Kids Penny Scramble at the Sandbox
  • 12-7pm – Flea Roast 5k Early Check-in/Late Registration at the Raffle Booth
  • 12:30pm – Kids Sack Races at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 1pm – Kids Bubble Gum Blowing Contest at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 1:30pm – Kids Egg Toss at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 2pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher
  • 2pm – Kids Hula Hoop Contest at the Souvenir Booth (age divisions: 5-7, 8-10, & 11-12)
  • 2pm – Arm Wrestling in the Pavilion
  • 3:30pm – Live music in the Pavilion
  • 4pm – Chain Saw Carving by Wood Butcher

Sunday

  • 8am – Flea Roast 5k Run/Walk Check-in
  • 9am – Flea Roast 5k Run/Walk Begins
  • 11am-3pm – Motorama Show
  • 12pm – Ox Market, IATA Food Booth, Beer Tent, Souvenir Booth, Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Opens
  • 12:30-3:30pm – Extreme Music Bingo
  • 2:45pm – Kids Bike Raffle (Ages 10 and under) at the Raffle Booth
  • 3pm – IATA Food Booth, Raffle Booth, & Amusement Rides Close
  • 3:30pm – SXS Raffle 2024 Razor Trail Drawing, Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 (NEED NOT BE PRESENT)
