Grapevine Wreath Making Kits Available at the Howard Christensen Nature Center 
Wreaths are $5 for members and $10 for non-members, and Wreaths with Trimmings are $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Pick up is at the Howard Christensen Nature Center Interpretive Center- 16190 Red Pine Dr., Kent City.

Deck the Halls: A Mason County Decorating Contest
Mason County residents may enter the Ludington & Scottville Chamber’s holiday decorating contest. Get in the Christmas spirit, deck your halls and enter for a chance to win cash prizes! Enter by visiting docs.google.com.

Saturday, December 4th, 7pm

18th Annual Jingle Bell Jam
Benefit for Toys for Tots/Gifts for Teens. Live music by B.V.O., Rock Supply, Junk Monkey, and Sufferin Succotash. Cost is $10 per person or a new, unwrapped toy or gift. American Legion Post 10- 10 Mason St., Manistee.

Kids Craft Day at Howard Christensen Nature Center

Winter Break Day Camp at Howard Christensen Nature Center

Friday, December 31st, 5-9pm

Balloon Drop New Year’s Eve Party
Enjoy snack food, ice cream sundae’s, and the big balloon drop on two floors. Cost is $50 per immediate family or $10 per person. Sign up early to reserve a spot!

Though it can be chilly, winter in West Michigan has much to offer like snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.
